Search for a replacement for Reid.

It's getting very tiresome waiting for Winston to make his mind up on the new contract offer.
Let's assume he has already decided to run his present contract down and start looking for a replacement now.
I had a good look at Van Dijk of Celtic today,and he impressed me a lot.
Any other possible contenders you can think of?

West Ham are sending scouts to watch Austria vs Russia on Saturday with Aleksandar Dragovic and Martin Hinteregger on their radar.
Manager Sam Allardyce is weighing up defensive reinforcements, particularly with the future of Winston Reid unresolved.
Reid, who is out of contract in the summer, has yet to agree to new terms at Upton Park and is the subject of interest from several Premier League clubs.
However, West Ham are reluctant to sell even in January so as not to disrupt their promising season.
Defenders Dragovic and Hinteregger have earned rave reviews at their respective clubs Dynamo Kiev and Red Bull Salzburg.
Dragovic caught the eye while at FC Basle and would cost around £6million. Arsenal and Chelsea have also monitored his progress.
Hinteregger was watched by Manchester United last year as well as Liverpool and Arsenal.

Chelsea have got a couple of good young defenders on the fringes of their squad, namely Kurt Zouma and Nathan Ake, who look promising but probably like most young players at Chelsea won't be given too many chances to break through

The big Dane, Simon Kjaer at Lille gets my vote, but we also need to bring Burke and Oxford through and get Rio in to coach them (which might encourage Oxford to ignore the lure of the big clubs hovering around him).

Reading some of the comments on here, it's amazing how anyone can possible have an off game and ever recover from it.
Baring in mind, Reid played useless at Villa on his debut. He played useless at West Brom away.
Everyone was pining for Faye to play in the Championship ahead of Reid for the majority of the season.
He developed into a decent player though.
Funny how football works like that. Players developing, giving a run in a side.

Evans was utter shit at MK Dons earlier in the season.
We need someone with a bit of class as well as defensive prowess.
Sell that tosser Jarvis in January to raise some funds.
